Summer Collection 2026

Wild ✦ Wonder ✦ Bloom.
Every painting begins with a story.
Sometimes it starts with an animal that catches my attention. Sometimes with a piece of music, a flower, a sketch or simply a feeling.
This Collection brings together a group of paintings created over recent months, each with its own sentiment and story. From watchful owls and curious hares to dancing figures and animals that fill you with awe. These works invite you to pause, look a little longer and perhaps discover your own story within them.
I have told the story of my ballerina painting several times this summer. A message via instagram a year ago, a painting for the composer StanLee Harris and a video of me painting his ballet dancer for his social media, a promotion of the Ballet Aquila premiered by Brisbane Ballet August 2026. On the surface of it is a ballet dancer on music. But the story continues far beyond that image. When I talk about it I can play the the music, show them the ballerina in motion and introduce them to the wider world it belongs to.
Some paintings have a story, while others invite their own stories from the people who view them. A dear friend visited during Bucks Art Weeks . She has the ability to see a painting and hear words. I have been so blessed to have her write poems about some of my paintings and on Wednesday she saw the snowdrops on the Floral Medley Painting. She stood taking it in and recorded a sung piece of prose on her phone. I am always so moved and blessed when someone feels the emotion of something I have painted.
